Reviewed 11 years agoEasy to use and works great
I use this everyday, it is easy to put on by yourself, and seems to be accurate. Lets me monitor BP when I want and when I feel it needs to be. Get comfy in a chair and just relax than do it. For the money you can't go wrong. And for trips or storage, has nice hard plastic case to protect it.

Reviewed 12 years agoGood product
This monitor does what it claims it will do, and is of a decent quality. The accuracy is on par with other portable monitors that I have used. A previous reviewer gave this monitor a low value because it requires that you position the monitor at the same level as your heart. The person claimed to be a nurse, I think not. The main reason hospitals and doctors monitor blood pressure with an arm cuff is to get a reading close to the level of the heart. It is a common practice to have the patient place their arm with the cuff, on the nurse's shoulder to put the cuff at heart level. I have found my reading to be reasonably consistent with the readings the nurses get 30 minutes later at my cardiac rehab. My only gripe with the unit is the cheesy case that comes with it. Unit hardly fits in it, and it's difficult to open and close. Other than that, the unit works well, and I would recommend it.

Im an Rn in a hospital and got this because it is easy to carry....the machines we have on the floor are so big and bulky but work when the patient is in any position, even moving around. This machine requires you to sit up and have you arm perfectly at heart level and even then im skeptical of the results.. needless to say I am taking it back today, hoping they will let me trade it in for a brand name model..dont waste your money!

Reviewed 13 years agoOK product - incorrect battery type indicated
This product is OK, positional, so the BP measurement may vary, but adequate. The only problem is I bought extra AA batteries, since it indicated AA on the box. Thank goodness it came with 2 "AAA" batteries, since I didn't buy those. Even the on-line description indicates AA batteries.

Reviewed 13 years agoTakes AAA not AA batteries
My only complaint about the product is that it uses AAA batteries, even though it says on the box AA. Thank goodness they included two batteries to get started with but didn't do too much for the extras that I bought.
