Good thermometer if you only use every once in a while. Wouldn't recommend for small children or frequent use. Good for the low price.

I've had one of these for at least eight years, through a number of illnesses and some careless handling, and it's been quick and easy to use all this time. The only reason I'm about to get a replacement is that it finally got dropped once too often - and stepped on. Despite the bad handling, It's still plugging along bravely, but its beep has become sickly. At this low price, I may as well retire it and get a new one.
