I have never tried these cookies when it was the "old recipe" as other reviews have complained about. But I had one the other day when my coworker shared with me, and the taste was good! This would be a good snack anytime.

Why would you pay more? These are the freshest, tastiest raspberry shortbread cookies I have had in a long time and I'm a grandma! Buy more than one. They go fast...very fast.

I made a CVS account simply to write a review. These were my mother's favorite cookies. She bought an old box and a "new box". The entire family was disappointed with the new taste of these cookies, they lack the same texture and buttery flavor. We are on our last box with the old recipe and we will not be buying these cookies again. Such a shame when they change things that should be left alone.

I was very disappointed recently because the recipe for the CVS Gold Emblem Absolutely Divine Raspberry Creme Shortbread Cookies has changed. I've been buying these as well as the lemon variety for many years. I opened a package the other day and without even looking at the cookie, I could tell right away from the texture that something was amiss. I bit into the cookie and it was mediocre, not the wonderful, soft, buttery cookie that I was accustomed to. I hope that CVS is able to obtain the old recipe from wherever it was made in the past.

I have been buying these cookies for quite a while at least 1 1/2 yr. They were such a treat to buy. Today i tore into my bag as usual expecting the creamy crispy cookie with that liitle twang of fruit. Such a dissapointment to taste it wasnt the same. Dont u hate when they do that . Just when you get into a product they try to cut corners and end up ruining the product.
