Reviewed 12 years agoFinally, an antit-itch lotion that works!
I have been suffering from eczema for months and months, mostly located on the inside folds of my elbows and the inside folds of my knees. I have spent over 300 dollars trying to find relief in creams and lotions, and until now NOTHING has helped. I bought this CVS anti-itch lotion yesterday and already my arms and legs look better and FEEL better.
I had to reapply the lotion a few times throughout the day, and once reapplied, no itching! The lotion does dry out my skin a bit. I am not sure if this is the normal reation or just a case of my poor skin still being so very damaged at this point. But again, please note I have tried fifty different products to help me with my eczema, and none has helped until this CVS product. I plan to buy again as needed. A bit pricey, but SOOOOOO worth it!

Reviewed 13 years agostops itching dead and steroid-free
I needed an anti-itch to go under my lymphedema compression garments. I am very itch-prone and this stuff stops the itch dead. Dr said to avoid any with steriods as repeated use can cause skin to thin. I went to CVS and found this product, no steroids (read the label - just like its more expensive brand name brother) and fragrance-free. No stinky smell. Now it's on sale and I am buying 5 bottles. Hard to reach the bottom of the bottle so I have a small jar that I drain the remains into. Works great!

Soreness in skin folds greatly reduced while nothing else worked, including multi washing, drying routines. (Not a recommeded use) Contains a 1% solution of cortisteriod! Please sure to investigate use of Pramoxine Hydrochloride products before use. Sold over the counter. Be sure to let your doctor know about your useage.
