I have been using the CVS brand probiotic for a couple months now and it has really helped my colitis come under control. I felt even more confident with this product after recently reading a consumer report article that named CVS brand probiotics as one of the most reliable for post packaging number of live bacteria present at time of purchase.

After experiencing a serious virus that resulted in 3 days in intensive care, a family member is trying to add good bacteria into his digestive system. He tried a couple different products both of which caused digestive upset (grumbling & gas), before he tried CVS Digestive Probiotic Vegetable Capsules. He's been taking one of these a day for a month & hasn't had any problems. As a result of the virus, he became gluten & dairy intolerant. These are gluten & dairy free. These probiotics also contain inulin which is sometimes called a prebiotic. Inulin is thought to support friendly bacteria growth. We subscribed to CVS monthly delivery & are purchasing these at a discounted price.
