It worked great out of the box. Packed it away until the next season, and now it won't work. I can hear a small motor running but nothing else. No mist, no variable speed. Will trash it and buy another brand.

I got one for our bedroom and it was great. I wanted to get a second one for our living room. I went to the CVS and got the last one they had. Something was loose inside and it was broken straight out of the box. I went to another CVS and exchanged it only to come home and find that this one was broken as well. I opened it up and there was no fuse and it was not connected whatsoever. I just took the 2nd one back to the store. They say to call first ,but who has time to talk to someone on the phone and tell them, "yes I waited 15 minutes, yes I tried different out lets..."
This gets 2 stars because when they do work, they are great. But the QC for Kaz is seriously lacking!

Did not work out of the box. Fan does not turn on to move moisture out of device. Very disappointed.

I've used this product before, and my last one burnt out. I researched prices, promotions and availability and found CVS to be the most competitive - on-line moreso than in the store. The unit arrived quickly, it was properly packaged, and it is functioning effectively.

Having bought this humidifier as a result of my cold, I was happy I did because it helped "kick" my cold. It is extremely quiet which is important since I am a light sleeper. The reservoir goes a long time without refilling. The refilling is not a big deal for me as I have a deep sink and I refill with filtered water to extend the life of the Kaz filter. I am very pleased with it. My girlfriend thinks she'll get one now because of it's cooling effect for the hot summer months and our dry climate. I heartily recommend this humidifier despite it's high price, it's worth every penny!

Works great as far as adding humidity to our large bedroom. I place it on a stool so that moisture does not rein onto our wood floors. It's quiet , easy to clean. I have a deep bathroom sink making it easy to fill.or you ban use the tub. If a problem use a soup container to transfer water. I thoroughly rinse it and use a q tip if needed for corners as water does have mineral deposits. Whenever I remove it from the box it is ready to go. I love that I can adjust levels depending on the weather and house temp.
