Unlike the other reviewer, I have never bought a can that wouldn't spray. It sprays and foams up very well, does the job, and leaves the carpet smelling fresher. Not as thorough as a good steam cleaning, but good for maintenance. Highly recommended.

I purchased this carpet cleaner last month and used it today for the first time. I followed directions. The can had no propellent. When I pressed the button on the top of the can, only a thin drop of solution trickled out. No "foam."
