I have put these automatic nightlights throughout the house: in the hallways and bathrooms especially. They are great for seniors or anyone. This way you can make your way to the bathroom in the middle of the night without putting on lights and disturbing other people. They even come on during storms and any time it becomes dark enough for the sensor to turn on the light. My mother-in-law fell in love with them at my house, so I bought several for her.
