Reccommended by my Optometrist . I use it at least 2 times each day for dry eyes and redness. I get immediate relief.
I look for the best price which I usually find at CVS. I am 88 and I expect to use these eye drops forever to keep my eyes healthy.

I started using these drops on the recommendation of my optician. I damaged my eye a while back ago and every so often, I would awaken with horrendous pain in my damaged eye. He explained that the way I damaged my eye was not a "clean cut" and therefore every time my eye dried out, when I blinked, it would reopen the same cut to my eye, with the same pain. He recommended this product because it would keep my eyes moistened for longer periods. Though it was a little pricier, my only other option was to have my eye re-damaged via the doctor and a laser for a clean cut so it could heal properly. I have been using these drops for years now and have not had to have option #2 done. I don't wake up with the pain in my eye anymore. As stated, the drops are a little more costly, however, when you think about how many times you're having to re-lubricate your eyes with the cheaper stuff/ other brands and how much of that you do through, to me, it all cost the same in the end. One small bottle lasts me a VERY long time.
If you've never used it before, the first few times, it may seem thick and oily to you. I let my friend try it once because she wasn't use to wearing contacts, but that day she was wearing hers. She used it and said it was a bit oily feeling in her eyes, but a couple blinks later, that feeling disappeared. She told me that her contacts stayed moistened for much longer than normally if she used her regular brand.
I won't use any other drops now!

I had Lasik surgery a few weeks ago, and the doctor gave me samples of this. I've since gotten my own refills and find these drops are highly effective, not only for lubricating my eyes, but since I started using them, I don't have gunk in my eyes when I awaken each morning. I highly recommend Systane Ultra drops
