I have my highs and lows, and was looking for something to even that out without mind altering drugs. Read about this product online, and tried it. It does what it says it boost your mood. Would tell anyone that has a mood swings try this product.

This is not a product that we use every day, but when we need it, it works well. Within a short time, 30 minutes or so, the grumpy, depressed person, is more like their normal self. I have seen no side effects in any of the five of us. We have been using it for over a year for family members ranging from 10-48 years old.

I've tried just about every OTC brand of 5-HTP and have found Sundown 200mg to be the best value and most effective for me. I take one capsule each night before bed and have never had any side effects.

I tried taking this product a few times and experienced overwhelming nausea every time, even with just one pill. I didn't, however, notice even the slightest benefit from it. I brought this up with a few people I knew who were also "supplement buffs", and everyone I talked to said they had nasty side effects, interestingly, most often nausea. Obvioulsy this isn't the case with everyone, but take caution before taking this product!!
