Where do I begin?? I have been searching for a shampoo that has very little if no harsh chemicals and today, I found this gem at my local CVS store! The scent is AMAZING, but it may not be for everyone. This specific formula has a feminine perfume scent to it. However, the clean feeling is very similar to what you would experience with Wen brand, which takes the HUGE sting out of the price. Wen sells for around $32.00 on average! My hair has NEVER felt so good! I am HOOKED!

This product is a complete game changer! My hair is relaxed and I use heat on it regularly, so it was becoming damaged and was falling out. I came across this product and decided to give it a try. I've been using it for almost a year now and the difference in my hair is incredible! It smells great! My hair is silky smooth, shiny, and has noticeably grown. I have finally found a product that I will continue to remain loyal to for the rest of my life!

I LOVE this product. It smells so good. I am in my early 50"s and have tried so many shampoos and conditioners in my life and I came upon this 3 years ago. I have not used anything every since. It is thick and moisturizing and again have the best scent. Perfect all around. Highly recommend

I'm happy to see that CVS is expanding their line of Shea Moisture products. The retention shampoo adds body to my fine hair.

I have very thick, dry, coarse hair. I used shampoos my whole life with sulfates and other harsh chemicals with no idea how it was effecting my hair (I used Dove, Herbal Essences, Loreal, Sauve). I began doing my own research and finding out that the shampoos that I had used my entire life growing up, the ingredients they contained were banned in hundreds of countries. Even salon shampoos such as Redken, Biolage, and Paul Mitchell had sulfates and other harsh chemicals in their product, and they cost over $30 per bottle! Sodium Laureth Sulfate, and any sulfate for that matter, is used to take grease off of car engines and such. Think of what it's doing to your hair. I was looking in CVS one day when I saw this shampoo and looked at the ingredients. Absolutely not harsh chemicals! I bought it for under $10. The first time I used it I could tell how different my hair felt after one wash. After I month (which the bottle is still over 3/4's of the way full) my hair feels totally different, the shampoo does a wonderful job cleansing and also leaves hair silky soft. I hardly have to condition my hair after using the shampoo. My hair does not feel like straw anymore, it is very manageable. I love this product!

After use, a whole new experience to the skin, without any allergies, I really trust it and recommend to my close friends and colleagues. And I even use it to wash "clothes", Wow!!! Just because its ingredients are natural, and do not damage the skin, love it, love it!!!

I just got a very strong highlight that changed my very brunette hair to almost blonde. While getting used to my new look, the bleach really did a job on the hair that frames my face (and gets styled the most). I've been using the shampoo for about a week, and it has restored my hair - to even better than before my highlight. I'm a believer. Love it.
