I am extremely pleased with this shea moisture line. I have been using the Shampoo, leave-in conditioner, and this styling lotion for several weeks now, and my hair is already responding very well. I have extremely thick and kinky African American hair, and the amount of breakage and tangling I experience has dramatically decreased as I use this product. For reference, I am currently ending my transition from relaxed to natural hair. My hair looks and feels very healthy, and I will continue purchasing. I will say that I only use this product on an as-needed basis though (2-3 times a week max) vs every day, as it contains protein and too much of a good thing can cause issues. Reviewers on other sites have said (and I agree), that it smells like playdough, but not in a bad way.
