I am a black woman in my 40s - (tan-brown complexion). I have several old nicks and a few patches of varicose veins on my lower legs that make wearing a knee length dress not so appealing. (I usually wear tights or stockings.) I did some research on the Sally Hansen Airbrush legs to choose my shade. I compared the product to the Jergens Glow tan building lotion that I tried for a while in the past. I tried the Jergens medium shade, and it turned out orangish - Ew. Sally Hansens not only completely covered the old nicks, but covered the darkish color of the veins as well and gave my legs a smooth finish. My sons and hubby were impressed so I'll be brave enough to try it in real world. I will submit a review once I've worn the product all day to test its wear and moisture resistance. It does need to dry for about 15 minutes before putting on clothes. I hope this helps for now.

The reason I love this Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs is first of all because it is waterproof. It doesn't come off the whole day unless I wash it off with soap and water. The other reason I like it is because it dries quickly and for the most part doesn't rub off onto clothes (whites and creams may show a little).

Love this product! It's an aerosol can. You spray the tanner into your hand and rub it in. Instantly tanner! You can easily rub it in to make sure you get even coverage, no streaking. I use a towel with warm water to wipe the excess off the palms of my hands and in between my fingers.
It has very light gold shimmer in it, which looks great for a night out. Looks gorgeous in the sun! But if you don't like a light glittery look you probably won't like this.
Only comes off with soap, water alone won't take it off. I've put this on before going swimming and it stay, just make sure you don't dry off too vigorously with the towel or it will rub it off.

I thought this product was going to look more natural, but when I went out into the daylight it looked like I had put glittery foundation all over my legs. Totally unnatural and strange looking. I think there is another variety of this that is not glittery. I think the word "glow" in this products title refers to the glitter that's in it. Maybe the other one is better, but I would pass on this one if you don't want to look foolish.

Great product! Does exactly as promised and more. I have bruise-like discoloration on my legs and this covers them up like a dream. I use this all over, not just on legs, for a quick tan. Water resistant...I go swimming in pools and ocean and it still stays on as long as you don't rub your skin. There is no smell unlike with some self tanning products. Comes off when you want it to with soap and water.
