Several years ago this shampoo was rated highly by Consumer Reports and I started using it. I wash my hair every day and this shampoo is terrific. I do not need a conditioner which saves me time and money. As long as you really rinse it all out of your hair it does exactly as advertised - shampoos and conditions!

I've been using Pert Plus for almost a decade. I originally switched over to the Pert brand because they had a dandruff-fighting product. But even after the dandruff went away I stayed with the brand, switching over to Pert Plus for the convenience of having conditioner built into the shampoo. I used to buy it in bulk from Costco, but with coupons from CVS it is just as inexpensive. My five-year-old son likes the smell of it so much that now he wants to use it instead of his Johnson's Baby Shampoo! I like the ease of use of the smaller sized container, but to save money, I sometimes buy the larger size (which is heavy and awkward to use) and pour it into the smaller size.
