I love for my teeth to be clean and healthy.
This toothbrush was a Christmas present, replacing another brand. Your brush has improved my teeth cleanliness, The only thing I don't like is it's really, really extremely to loud to me and not a smooth movement brush, a little rough.

Not what I hoped for
Surprised it didn’t come with a cap/cover given it sits on my bathroom counter exposed to the environment. It also cuts out for a second several times while I’m brushing.

We know how disappointing this can be. Please know we don't make brush head covers as we don't recommend storing them in closed containers. This could cause bacteria to grow. Also, we're sorry you don't like the in-handle timer. The 1000 is designed to pulse every 30 seconds to let you know when to switch areas of the mouth. If you have any questions, please give us a call at (800) 566-7252.<!--[if ReviewResponse]><![endif]-->

Where is the travel case?
I would have given this toothbrush 5 stars but it did not come with a travel case. We have 4 other Oral B's and they all came with travel cases. For the amount of money this cost, it should come with a case. I guess I now have to search for a case!

Very messy
It's too big for my mouth and toothpaste drips all over me. A charge is supposed to last a week but, after trial and error, I discovered it doesn't turn on unless the charging station is plugged in. The brushes are too hard. Not happy at all !!!!!

Terrible battery
This toothbrush will not hold a charge. The instructions say it takes 22 hours for a full charge, but after waiting the allotted amount of time, the brush still indicated it was charging. I tried brushing my teeth with it anyway and was able to get about a minute and 30 seconds before it slowed down and eventually stopped around the 2 minute mark, with the red battery light flashing. This happened the first few times (with at least 10 hours of charging between each use), and then I could barely even get 45 seconds of use before it would stop. Thinking I just got one with a bad battery, I exchanged it for a new one after two weeks. The new one has been charging for over 36 hours and still does not have a complete charge. I tried using it anyway at the 36 hour mark and it ran out of battery after a single 2 minute use. Additionally, there is no pressure sensor feature on either of these brushes. My teeth feel very clean if it actually works for two minutes, but overall it was a waste of money. I'll probably return the second one I got. I do not recommend purchasing this product.

Planned to fail after 2 years max
We've been using these brushes in various versions over the last 15 years or so. The features per dollar have gone down as they introduced increasingly expensive models with extras I can see no use for. This is a toothbrush, folks! I have serious gum issues, and these toothbrushes have been excellent at improving my gums. They clean very well, and I love having them. What I never have liked is that they are using a battery technology (NiMH) that is almost guaranteed to fail within 1-2 years. In the early years, that was the only option. Today, this technology is totally obsolete. Oral B will not replace it, though, because you have to buy a new toothbrush every 2 years (if you're lucky). In summary, this IS a great toothbrush - just expect to be replacing it on a regular basis.
