[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use a retinoid called Tazorac almost nightly. It's a very strong product that can cause major dryness and peeling skin. It can look pretty awful. I added some natural oils to my nighttime moisturizer, which helped. But it wasn't until I started using the Regenerist Luminous Overnight Mask that I could see a real difference. The peeling from the Tazorac was sometimes so awful I didn't want to leave home. There were literally small sheets of dead skin hanging off my face.
When I added the Overnight Mask to my routine within a few days the peeling had decreased a lot.Now I use it every night on top of the retinoid and some a light oil, and in the morning I rub the few flakes with a wash cloth and I'm set. On some days during the winter and I'm home all day I'll apply an additional layer during the day to stay a step ahead. I'm basically peel free now! I love this stuff! And because it's from the Regenerist Luminous line it has that extra dose of niacinamide to help keep my complexion even and bright.
