I picked this up to get my cart to that free shipping level. On our trip to the ocean this summer, my daughter braided her hair following an ocean swim. When she took it out the next day, the waves were beautiful. So I thought this is the next best thing :) I was not expecting it to smell so good and my girls love it. Have not tried the braid waves, yet though.

This spray is great for styling if you already have semi-wavy/wavy hair. Otherwise it simply doesn't work well. I have wavy hair and it's a hit-or-miss sometimes. I still really like this product though because it's easy to use, smells great, and has great packaging. You also don't need to use a lot so it lasts quite a while.

This product is decent. My hair is naturally curly and wavy and has some frizz to it. I can't use this product by itself to make beach waves, so if you want a one stop miracle product this is probably not going to be your go-to product. This product does, however, work well to help hold a wavy/curly hairstyle and it does add texture. It is awesome when used with the Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Hair Cream. Would recommend this to others, but just know that it is probably NOT going to work just by itself unless maybe you have frizz-free or fine hair.

I love beach waves and the smell of salt water in my hair. So I bought this! The spray bottle top is very convenient and it locks so you can't accidentally spray in a travel bag so that's useful.
But, it didn't give me waves.. maybe a little bit but not as much as I would like/ as it says it would ..even though i've altered the amount of product I use and using it while my hair is wet or dry or damp. I do like the smell though, it's very nice and when applied at the roots you get some volume. Don't spray too much though it will make your hair stick together and kind of crunchy.
Overall..it's not as great as it seems but it wasn't a total loss cause of its use as a root volumizer and it does provide SOME texture and wave.

the first few times i tried this product, instead of giving my hair waves it gave me knots. I had to brush my hair for hours on end until it finally had just a few knots. Other than that this product was ok. I still haven't seen real curls or any sort of waves... kind of dissapointed.

Love this beach spray, my two favorite ways to use it are:
- Spray all over dry hair, flip hair over & spray underside of hair while tousling/ scrunching all over - flip back and use your blow dryer on low setting as you scrunch alternating sections of hair for that uneven, spent the day on the beach look.
- If you slept on last night's hairdo and don't have time to wash it right away, spray hair liberally, then brush out & loosely restyle to get you through to the next wash.

I have long, coarse, wavy hair. This was easy to apply and lasted a long time. I've used way more expenisve salt sprays that did not impress me one bit. They left my hair looking like a cotton ball and feeling like a brillo pad. This gave my hair the loose waves I wanted and refreshes very easily with a few sprays. I'm on day three after washing my hair and it looks just as good as it did. I've only had to give it a few sprays, scrunched it and curled bang area. Awesome! And it smells really good.
