This is my favorite bar. It is relatively low in fat (9% "regular" fat, 12% saturated fat), high in vitamins, protein, and carbs, and tastes great to boot. It's also high in sugar and calories, but it's not meant to be a diet bar, so look elsewhere if that's what you want.
I have a naturally thin frame, so the high protein content in these bars helps build/keep the muscle mass I've got. Taken in advance of a bicycle ride or gym session, they provide good energy (or if taken afterward, good recovery).
They're great for travel when you want something healthy, instead of whatever's available on the roadside or in an airport (fast food? tastes yucky to me anymore!).
I sometimes use these as "dessert" rather than a fatty cake, pie, etc. Not all the time (fruit, jello, pudding, etc. no-fat/low-fat desserts are fine), and sometime I "splurge" on some cake or pie, but these fit in nicely.

I have been trying different kinds of bars for the last few months. Yesterday I went to CVS and was searching for a new bar. Most of the cookie dough bars I've tried don't taste like cookie dough to save their lives! But this one actually did! When you open the wrapper it actually looks like toll house raw cookie dough was rolled up into a bar!! Nothing like the picture on the front of the wrapper. Ever single bit had a chocolate chip in it, it wasn't think like some are and honestly didn't taste like a meal bar or a diet bar at all. I will be going back and buying stock in these!
