Here is the scoop Purchased on 1/5/16 Applied nails on 1/6 1/7 first nail broke in half-repaired it 1/8 second nail broke in half-repaired it 1/9 third nail broke in half-repaired it 1/10 forth nail broke in half-repaired it 1/11 today two nails break in half-I'm not repairing The only way these would work is if you don't use your hands at all for anything!! I've had enough with these nails returned the kit to store!! Don't waste your Time or your Money!

I am not a professional manicurist but I enjoy doing my own nails at home. I own a LED light and many gel nail polishes but haven't mastered the french tip look. I went to CVS to purchase the whole artificial french tip nail set but then I saw this kit. I followed the directions, including starting with doing your dominant hand first, which makes sense. I agree with the previous comment...yes, the brush in the gel product dried out right away and became too stiff to make smooth lines. Unfortunately, I had to exchange the first kit I bought because, though it was unopened, the gel brush was missing! I suggest opening the kit as soon as you buy it to make sure all bottles have brushes in them. I'm going to purchases nail polish brushes separately so I always have extras when one dries out. The instructions make it seem like all three bottles should come with brushes but my second kit was missing the brush for the activator. I think maybe you use the brush on the cleaner bottle for the activator interchangeably. I'm a fan and I will definitely be buying this product again.

I believe this is a great product and the idea is really great but I really think that you should have someone help you do your nails. I don't know if it was just my kit but the gel brush dried and got all stuck together after like the first time I used it so that made me a little frustrated but I believe this isa good product but could use a little fixing.
