I have been using this product for the last 2 years. Sometimes I use it alone and sometimes I mix it in my regular lotion. I don't think it has a bad or strong smell. It has never streaked on me. I make sure my skin is dry and rub it on evenly. I'm fair so I use the fair to medium skin tone.

I'm a red head and do not tan naturally, let me just say I've used just about every sunless tanner out there and this is the best for me! I exfoliate daily and apply to my pasty white legs and it gives me an amazing natural tan look. I only use on my entire body when heading to the beach! This stuff will streak if not applied evenly, use the same precautions as when using a full sunless tanner, lotion elbows, wrists, knees, ankles, etc. And wash hands after applying!!

This product adds just a little color each time you use it. If you use it every day for a week it looks like a very natural tan. It also is a great moisturizer.

I'll preface this by saying I have extremely fair skin (I always use the lightest foundation), so this lotion may work better on darker skin.
I used this lotion on my legs on Sunday afternoon. After a few hours, I noticed a weird smell.... it was the sunless tanner smell, and it was icky.
When I woke up the next day, there were streaks and lines on my legs! It was a very stark difference, and was not natural at all. I was hoping that the tan would be so gradual that you wouldn't notice those kinds of imperfections, but it was quite obvious. I scrubbed my legs with a pumice stone so I could go to work.
I wouldn't recommend this to anybody with fair skin. Luckily, CVS has a 100% satisfaction guarantee on beauty products. I'll be taking them up on that offer today.

i have sun damaged skin, so i am not supposed to be in the sun for great lengths. well, living in los angeles makes that difficult. i can only wear so many hats! this is the only self tanner i have used that looks natural. i have oily skin, and this doesn't make me greasy. goes on easily, looks natural, and doesn't come off on your clothes, bedding, towels. if your looking for a science fiction tan then this is not for you. but if you want a healthy sun kissed glow then buy this. oh, i'm a guy, so if you're also a guy and worried about looking like you are wearing makeup, don't. this just looks as if you spent a weekend of R and R, and not baking in the sun 24/7.

This is a good moisturizer that sightly give me color. I wish it gave me more color but i hightly recommend it to pale people who don't tan well.
