It leaves the skin a little dry but other than that you can feel clean and a good smell.

This soap is very gentle and easy for my family to use. We have allergies and find that other soaps can be harsh and sometimes cause a reaction. I switched to ivory several years ago and have not had the same problems as with other brands. I'm always glad when I can get it on sale.
