What happened to Irish Spring? Growing up this was the only soap in our house. And it was the only soap I could use that didn't make me itch. Just bought a new 12pk after almost 6 months and there's just something not right. The scent is faint and NOT the normal scent at all. I also noticed the bar was oily when taking it out of the box. I didn't think anything of it but now I have skin irritation that I never used to have with this brand. Seriously disappointing.

Years ago you could tell when a person used Irish spring soap but today the scent is nonexistent. Virtually every bar of soap has been cheapened up is all facets of manufacture. I suppose the reason why is that its now made in Mexico.

Charcoal, deep action, microbeads, sport, etc. Keep getting changed to types I don't like. Usually I can find icy blast as a fallback if I can't find those. I don't care for original or aloe which are always available.

I know allot of folks say not to wash you're face with bars of soap, but I've been using this Irish Spring Original Bar on my face every day.. for years and it's gotten rid of my face bumps and body blemishes!!! This smells so darn good and it makes so so so much lather that doesn't leave my skin dry nor itchy and I love Irish Spring Bars! I even use this in the shower and I smell like Irish Spring all day long no matter what I'm doing or how hard I'm working. Thank you Irish Spring.!!!

i dont know if there is a real difference between this soap and the original but it seems to smell even better to me i love the smaller bar size as well and its at a great price i will keep on using this

Reviewed 4 years agoTHIS SOAP IS AMAZING!!!! The smell is incredible.
I rate this 6 stars..... I use this soap every single day, especially after a long day the smell is relaxing. Wish i could smell like this all day... like say a body lotion (Hint Hint) does a great job at cleaning. It strips all the dead skin/dirt and oil of your skin so It can be a little drying, but it's nothing a little body oil in the shower can't fix.

I always buy some packs of Irish Spring soaps when I visit the United States. The scent is wonderful and lasts a long time after the shower. Why is this wonderful soap not sold in Europe?

This has always been my favorite soap! Ever! With that being said, can someone please tell me if the formula for the Original soap changed recently? I noticed that when wet and soft, the color is a bit different as well as texture. This sounds crazy but I just know something has changed. Help!! Someone tell me!
