Original scent has changed
The scent has recently changed. The "original" no longer smells the same. I've used this soap for 30 years and opened a new box this morning. The new box and soap has an "updated" logo and also an updated smell. I compared the smell from the new one to the old one and it is noticeably different. Even my 7 year old son noticed it, in fact he was the one that commented on the logo changing on the box and said that he didn't like the "new logo" haha. Anyhow, I am not sure what has changed or why, but it is a huge disappointment. I am sorry to say but I'm going to be changing soap brands as a result.

Can never find it in the stores or online anymore.
This is the smell of soap my husband likes the best, but now I can no longer find it. Do you still make it? I would rather have this smell than one of the other selections that are offered by you guys. I guess it's time to start shopping around for a new brand/scent.

Loss of body hair
Wow, I've been using Irish spring for years and have never associated it with the soap, until I read another review on this site. I have always been a hairy guy and at 63 should be harrier, I'm wondering now if the soap has anything to do with my condition.

We love it!!
I'm so happy to have found this. We love how our skin feels after using it. It's cleared up some skin issues and smells great. I saw it on clearance recently so I hope it's not being discontinued after we found it just a year ago.

Finally a cure for scalp folliculitis
I first came down with scalp folliculitis when I was a teenager. For those of you who aren't aware of this condition. It's like severe acne on your head. And like regular acne it comes to a head and pops. JOY. I'd wake up in the morning and there would be blood on my pillow case. It was utterly disgusting. I tried various doctors, dermatologists, rounds of antibiotics, tea tree oil, coconut oil, peppermint oil. Nothing really worked long term. It burned, itched, and was embarrassing. It got so bad a few barbers told me they wouldn't cut my hair so I had to learn how to do it myself. Just out of curiosity I bought this product. I've used regular Irish Spring bar soap for over 20 years but like all bar soap it leaves horrendous soap scum on my shower. I heard that shower gel doesn't, or not as badly. I have a hand glove for the shower that exfoliates also. I tried this and I loved it for my body. I was feeling lazy so I just slathered this on my head and used the exfoliating glove on my head. Within two days of doing this the itching, the burning and most importantly the zits on the back of my head literally vanished. I thought it might be a fluke but after three weeks I haven't had a single zit on my head. I know this is not what the product is intended for but for me it has been nothing short of a miracle. I'm thinking it's the Celtic salt along with the exfoliating shower glove. I don't know, all I know is it works. Thank you.

Great fragrance
Great fragrance and not too harsh for my skin. This is a great product and love the bits of charcoal.
