Just your simple basic white crew socks with gray soles and heels. Not as much cushioning on the bottom as I would have liked or expected, but they are well made, comfortable and hold up well to hot water and color-safe bleach washings. Pretty good value for the price, compared with other "sports" branded socks.

Good cotton socks. Substantial material but not too thick. They have held up well after a couple of washes.

I have been wearing your crew socks for years. They were the best socks on the market. The last pack of socks I bought have been a big disappointment. They are very thin and are easy to fall down. I hate to think that I will have to look for a different brand after all these years. I know you have to compete with other brands, but making them cheaper just lost you a dedicated consumer. I would have paid extra for your socks if you would have continued to make a quality product. Thank you

When I found the gray-sole, cushioned socks from Hanes I thought I'd gone to heaven. But now, that style has been discontinued as far as I can tell, and only the name remains, attached to normal, run of the mill socks of uniform thickness all around the foot area.
Why would Hanes do this? I used to recommend the cushioned sock to every man I knew and a few women. Now, why would I?

I have bought Hanes products for years. But recently, I bought a pack of your Hanes "Men's Cushion Crew Socks 6-Pack, Style: 47802". Shortly after wearing a couple of pair, like two or three weeks, they began developing holes in the toe area of the sock. Over the next several weeks, the remaining pairs of socks also started developing holes in the toe area as well. Eventually, EVERY pair had holes in them, and now do not have any long socks to wear and had to go out and by another pack of socks...and they will NOT be Hanes. I would love to continue to by socks from you, BUT until you improve the poor quality of your socks, so they will not fall apart within a few months, I will simply purchase another brand. I hope the rest of your clothing items - like your beefy tees, which I also buy remain of good quality, or you may end up losing a me as a
customer permanently!
