I have always been VERY hesitant about trying anything other than tampons for my period, but I had been targeted with ads for the Flex Disc and decided to give it a try because of how dry and crampy tampons have been making me feel recently. THANK GOODNESS I DID. The Flex Disc is incredible! I tried my first at night and the directions could not have made things more clear. It took a couple shimmies and shakes to get it in the right place, but as soon as I figured it out, I understood what all the hype was about. So comfortable (as in I don't even feel it) and ZERO overnight leakage. Cant believe it! I will now be a long-standing customer and NEVER going back to tampons.

I absolutely love this! It’s the best period product I’ve ever used. It doesn’t leak, it’s not too much or too little it’s always got me and I’m never going back!

I discovered these while dating long distance, attracted by the promise of mess free period sex. These deliver! I will never go back to tampons and after 7-8 months of using the disposable version just invested in the reusable. It takes some getting used to, particularly that they empty when you pee. During the heaviest day of my period, I do change it every 8 hours. I have recommended these to all of my friends and can’t imagine going back to dealing with a string/changing my tampon every 3 hours. It does help my cramps a bit as well. Try them! Give it 2-3 months and I guarantee you will wonder how you went so long without them.

I have been using this product since it first came out and it changed my life. It is one of the best things invented in my lifetime and I am 40.
I am deeply disappointed at the company’s change in packaging that reads “made by menstruators for menstruators”
I will not buy this again until they call women “women”. I am not a “menstruator”, my dog is a menstruator. Bats are menstruators. I am a woman: a female adult human with XX chromosomes. I can grow life inside of me and birth a human child.
You need to understand that everything that goes woke with this nonsense, goes broke.

I'm so glad I tried Flex, it really has made period week a normal week instead of one I anticipate with dread. I use the disposable discs because I know I would obsess over keeping a reusable period product clean. No more tracking hours between tampon changes. No more bulky pads. Tucking the disc back into place after peeing is mess-free, and I can self-empty and adjust in a public restroom without walking to the sink with bloody hands.
Cons: I do not feel comfortable inserting or removing a disc while away from my own bathroom. I find the catch very audibly crinkly during insertion. Removal is noisy when the suction breaks and messy because self-emptying doesn't fully empty the catch. A personal pet peeve is I can never open the paper wrapper without accidentally ripping it down the middle. I'd prefer to keep it more intact to enclose the used disc later.
I'm impressed that the insertion (and removal) FAQs have been improved since I last read them! In the beginning, I had some leaks and discomfort because I wasn't placing the disc correctly. I hadn't yet experienced what "tucking behind the public bone" felt like to the finger that was doing the tucking. It took 3 or 4 cycles to get the hang of it, but I eventually learned to guide the edge of the disc far enough UP and AROUND the curve of my pubic bone. Now, no more discomfort, I can't feel the disc, and I leak only occasionally overnight on heavier flow days. I highly recommend trying this product.

I am 45 have bee n using tampons all my life faithfully. I have been researching these and today I took the plunge and bought them at CVS. Let me tell you I will never buy another tampon EVER!! It was easy to get in and out, I am super excited. I feel normal now without having to worry about bleeding thru. Oh and cramps have gone away, woohoo!!!!

It is nice to not have a string anymore. It does hold a little more than a super tampon does. However, my periods are super heavy so instead of changing a tampon every hour and a half, I’m changing the disc 2 and half maybe 3 hours before I feel major leakage. It does not help my HORRIBLE cramps so those of you with unbearable cramps, don’t expect much help (at least for me.) I do like the disc though, I just wish I could wear it longer before I get leakage.
