Reviewed 6 years agoBest topcoat I've ever tried!
First, this stuff LASTS without chipping longer than ANY OTHER topcoat I've ever tried! Used to love Sally Hanson InstaDry topcoat and SecheVite, but this makes my polish last so much longer than those!!
Also, I'm a surgical nurse. So to say I'm hard on my hands is an understatement. We're talking surgical scrub with harsh chemicals multiple times a day. And I still get a week of wear with this polish!!
Second, it dries to a perfect smooth glossy finish and covers a multitude of errors. No matter how quickly my polish dries I always end up smudging it, but one coat of this over top and my manicure is saved!
PS I use this with all of my existing polish with amazing results not just other gel couture polish.

I am an athlete but also a girly girl, so i needed a top coat that actually works.When I tried this it was excellent! It last for 2 weeks, through basketball. It also goes on very smooth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this top coat in an Influenster box. I've been using it on top of everything since. Thick and glossy/shiny and dries decently fast. It's great for fixing smudges too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Essie Gel Couture Top Coat complimentary to test and try. I found this top coat to last very long almost as long as a regular as gel manicure. It does give off a gel like appearance and it was able to stay on as long as 2 weeks without chipping. The brush made it easy to add the top coat with ease and execution.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I don’t usually use a topcoat, mostly because I am just lazy and nail polish usually takes forever to dry in the first place... but I received this product free for testing and I am so glad I did and gave it a try because it made such a huge difference! First of Essie brand polish lasts longer than what my local salon has to offer anyway but add this topcoat and it’s like a miracle for your nails... take it from someone who is tough with their hands it’s totally worth it!
