This is a great product to soften up the wax in the ears before my 88 year old mother goes to the doctor to have the ears flushed out. Without this product she was not able to have the wax fully cleared out. Thanks!

On its own the Debrox isn't entirely useful because all it really does is soften the wax, but when paired with an ear syringe, the effects are amazing. I used this on my husband today because he had a really bad earwax buildup that couldn't be reached with a cotton swab. I put the drops in the ears for the required amount of time and was disappointed to see that little wax came out when the ear was drained. However, when I started irrigating the ear canal with an ear bulb, the whole mass (about a 1/4'' thick and the diameter of his ear canal) just slid right out. I had no idea just how bad the buildup was and was amazed that he had even been able to hear prior to the removal. Unless you have a significant amount of wax buildup, I can't imagine this being of much use, but paired with the ear bulb, it works wonders.
