I will start out by saying that I used the Super formula. They didn't have it on the site to review. So, I will give an overall review of the relaxer.
I do my own relaxers. I have used this relaxer for my last 2 touch-ups because I have not been able to access the relaxer that I usually use. With that said, that should give you some idea as to how much I do like this new formula. Dark & Lovely was the 1st relaxer I got when I was a teenager, so it was always a part of my life. Even though I have always tried other relaxer formulas, whenever I needed a relaxer at the last minute, I knew that I could get Dark & Lovely at any store. That's how it was then, and that's how it still is now.
With this new formula, it actually seems a tad-less strong than it used to be. So, you may have to leave it in longer. You just have to see how quick your hair takes to the formula. Plus, it has a Shea Butter additive, along with a Keratin Serum, which I truly love. It makes my hair feel stronger.
I've always been used to the Color-indicator shampoo. Most box relaxers have that. No change to that.
I absolutely love the new conditioner that comes with it! It makes your hair feel really silky, and I always make sure I save half of the little bottle that comes in the box for my next shampoo.
I also love the packets of the Moisture Hair Creme as well. The formula makes my hair feel very nice and soft and shiny. It also comes in a bigger container, but I always forget to buy one whenever I go to the store! :)
Overall...as you can see...I always turn to Dark & Lovely! Highly recommend!!!
