This is my main shaving razor blade and very sharp. I find this carbon steel blade sharpest of SE blades I use each blade 5 time. I could use it more, but for the price like to change blades before the sharpness starts to drop off. I have friends who get 10+ shave per blade.

These blades are just like the "GEM" blades and shave quite well. But as always, dry the blade after shaving. The quality of the blades is great.

Reviewed 13 years agoExcellent for the fan of single edge safety razors.
These blades appear to be Personna or "Gem" carbon steel. They shave quite well and a little differently than the Gem Stainless version and can rust if they aren't dried after shaving. That's not a big hassle, just open your razor & blow it out after rinsing. I even do that with the stainless blades as they DO corrode and become dull faster if you don't. In the right razor you will get a very close shave indeed.
