The heating pad heats up quickly and has 4 settings. The cover is soft and comfortable.. I did however removed the piece of foam inside that is meant for moist heat. The cover does shed some fuzz at first, and it does shift around a bit so it needs to be readjusted but that alone wouldn't prevent me from buying or using it. The only downside in my opinion is that it seems to have an emergency feature where it auto-shuts off twice and then shorts somehow. If you do not physically turn it off and on and allow it to auto-shut twice.. you will need to unplug and re-plug it in to turn it on again. Not sure if this is intended or not. At first I too thought it wasn't working anymore but after plugging it in again it was fine. I am pleased with the heat temperatures it achieves and the comfort level off the cover, the fact that it isn't too stiff. It can be a little annoying to have to unplug/plug repeatedly but if it is an intended safety feature I suppose it is a good one for those who leave the heating pad on for long periods.

Although mine actually heats up, it's a thin and cheaply made little piece of junk that won't hold its shape and sheds fuzz all over the place. Less than a month old, and we want to throw it away. My husband bought it at the store without opening the box to check it out first. If I hadn't been laid up needing heat for my back, it would have gone right back to the store.

After fighting debilitating shoulder and neck spasms, I finally went to CVS to get a heating pad. This one offered a wet heat option so I went for it.
While it worked the first day, I'm sitting here today with a defunct product already...When I hit the button to turn it on, the light comes on and stays on for about 5 seconds and then it shuts off of its own accord. No heat. If I continually turn it back on over and over again, the heating pad works but who's going to sit here pushing buttons every 15 seconds to keep the pad working?!

I purchased this product and after having it plugged in for 20 minutes, it still had no heat. I am bringing it back.
