The price is good and the baby like it!However, I don‘t know the difference between soy based and milk based.

Reviewed 10 years agoGreat soy formula
My baby used Gerber Soy. I tried this as an alternative and have been using it since. This is great! Especially for the price. The subscribe and save option is even better. The only thing i recommend is mixing the formula a little longer. But that is the only thing.

I love that I can get a larger can of formula that compares to name brands such as Gerber or Infamil for half the price!

Soy formula is hard to find and very expensive. This type is priced low.

Reviewed 12 years agoGreat value, baby loves it.
This is my third baby, and I started supplementing breast milk with formula when she was about 4 months old. My oldest son is dairy allergic, and was on Similac Soy once I started supplementing with formula around 8 months. So naturally I started on that brand once my daughter refused milk-based formula, including the sensitive/lactose-free Similac. (She was cramping, crying, refusing to eat.) After a few canisters of the Similac Soy, I figured I'd try a generic soy, since she is so young and we have many months to buy formula. She LOVES it. It smells gross to me, but she guzzles it down happily, better than any of the name brands I was trying with her. It also clumps much less than the Similac Soy - much easier to mix. Incredible value! I always use coupons or find it on sale.

Reviewed 12 years agoGreat for Breastfeeding Babies
After trying Similac and Enfamil brands of formulas with my newborn, I decided to try CVS brand Soy, and I am so happy with the results. My daughter would refuse anything the babysitter gave her, but she took this formula like a champ. I even got a $2 discount on a large can one day. What I like best is the price, and the fact my daughter digests this very easily. I am breastfeeding and supplementing with formula since my supply has decreased. I didn't have time to pump out breast milk and needed an alternative. I love this brand and I think more mothers should try the soy. She is a healthy weight, not too fat like other formula fed babies. Of course she prefers momma's milk, but this formula is a good replacement when I am at work.
