CVS has finally improved upon the Protective Cover. The old style would tear to easily! The new cover is now dark blue with a black mesh! A great improvement on the quality! I have been using this cold pack for over a year and its still going strong! I bought two so that I can always have one ready to go. Just had another back surgery, so I am icing several times a day!

The best aspect of this product is the gel does not freeze solid, rather it remains soft and pliable, contouring to any bone/body part. It is reusable again and again.

The CVS Cold Pack can be frozen and refrozen almost endlessly. They last for a year and sometimes two before they start to leak a blue ooze. I carry a cooler in my car to stop swelling from an old surgery constantly and they hold the cold longer than most. Good product.

Great for injuries or arthritis...I have used for years and these cold packs come with little jackets. They last a long time and are a great value also.
