Due to a long time illness I need to have some help each day to remain regular. Used Miralax for a long time since it was just a prescribed product, however I have used the CVS brand for many years now and I can see no difference between the two.....except for the price! It is a more reasonable cost...effective and lower in cost makes me very pleased to recommend this product!

This product was recommended for my cat , 1/4 tsp dose people!, and admittedly I use it too. I use it weekly and because the human dosage is large I go through it quickly. That being said the pure lax brand is a less expensive, identical generic version (is that redundant?) of more expensive brands. It's just as effective and I recommend this product highly.

Purelax powder does not stay in solution compared to miralax or gentlelax which both stay in solution. Purelax after stirring falls to the bottom of the glass. After drinking much of the product is still in the glass. Purelax 'clumps' in the original bottle. This results in large amounts falling out of the bottle when tipped to measure in the cap. It requires vigorous shaking to eliminate the clumps.

We need to buy a lot of this, so saving money is huge. This works just the same as the name brand, and we can save a lot. I always watch for sales on these!
