I purchased this cushion at my local CVS about two weeks ago. It inflated easily, and was fairly comfortable to use for short periods. If I sat for more than an hour, though (as I have to for work), the back of my thighs would start to ache and go numb.
About a week after I purchased the cushion, it mysteriously went flat. I had been pretty careful with it, considering it was inflatable and I didn't want to pop it, and it's rated for up to 300 lbs, so I'm sure my 90 lb. frame couldn't have been the culprit. After a few minutes of inspection, I finally spotted a teeny-tiny pinhole leak at the inner seam.
I contacted my local CVS and asked them if I could exchange it even though I no longer had the receipt, and they were very understanding.
Well, it's been a week since I exchanged my first cushion for the new one. And the new one has been pretty much the same as the original. Right down to the fact that, for absolutely no reason, as I was sitting here just now, it deflated for no reason.
And, upon inspection, there's a small tear right at the inner seam, in almost the same spot as the hole in the original.
To sum up: This cushion may be helpful to you if you need to reduce pressure down below, but only for the very short term. If you need something that will last more than a week, look elsewhere.
