my husband is diabetic and uses this product a lot. I called CVS headquarters and told them when it first came out that it was next to impossible to open for someone having a reaction. They have since designed a new bottle which is easier to open ..

This works very well. Diabetes magazine described that when having a low blood sugar to ingest 15 carbs and check blood sugar again in 15 minutes. This is fast acting, and the new cap is much more user friendly - as diabetics have neuropathy and have difficulty opening the other types of glucose shots.
