I bought two boxes of CVS brand Gas Relief extra strength chewable tablets during a bogo offer. I thought they would be the same as the Gas X brand. The chewable tablets from both CVS boxes crumbled so bad just trying to get it out of the package that I am sure I only took 1/2 the recommended dose. I have never had this problem with the name brand, so I am really disappointed in this product. Usually I believe there is no difference in store brand and name brand, but in this case I say spend the extra money for name brand, you will be much happier.
