I first saw these by accident a few years ago, and got them for a friend who was plagued with ear infections. He always used regular swabs, that went too far in the ear. I got these, and they have helped prevent these problems. Also, I used these for cleaning my cat's and dog's ears to prevent the tips from going too far. I use a little coconut or olive oil to help remove gunk and debri once a week. They are an economical and safe way to clean any ears!
