I use an insulin pump that uses adhesive to stick to my skin. But I am definitely allergic to it. I have also had problems with the brand name (Tegaderm). For some reason these CVS brand bandages are perfect! No allergic reaction and they fit perfectly under my pump (Omnipod)! Thank you!

Reviewed 10 years agoExcellent lower cost alternative to name brand version
I started purchasing transparent dressings many years ago when they first came onto the market. They are perfect for healing scratches, scrapes, and chafed areas. I even use this dressing as preventative to chafing under my Heart Rate Monitor strap when I run - something causes my HRM to chafe. I've given up trying to adjust the position, I just use the transparent dressing and viola problem solved. :) Since I use many of them, finding this lower cost alternative to the name brand version has made me very happy. I think the adhesive sticks well and is non-allergic (I am quite allergic to most adhesives) and this one gives me zero trouble. Although the name brand product has slightly better packaging, I LOVE this product and use it all the time.

It won't stay where placed, rolls up to expose what it's meant to be covering, and first two application attempts had the patch stuck on the packaging rather than the applicator making it more expensive than tegaderm in the end. just really fell short of what it should be and claims to do.
