I purchased 9v batteries for my smoke detector and front door keyless entry lockset (which we only use 2 days a week.
they lasted about 2weeks, checked with my voltmeter they were 6v and less.
also checked for dates and could not find info for expiration dates either. there are codes on bottom of battery???
no bargain @ 2.50 a battery!
