Admittedly this isn't the best portable radio in the world but for the price it's pretty good. Serves my purpose just fine which is to have a radio in my bathroom. It picks up all the stations my electronic radios do. It may not have the sound of a Bose but it's not bad for the price. I've had 2 for several years.

I bought this radio in a hurry 2 years ago in advance of a major storm for use during power failures. It was the only model of its type in stock. It served its purpose. It brought in the strongest stations, but it suffered from "tuning drift," poor reception and mediocre sound quality.
The tuning nob just broke from wear so I bought a SONY ICF 38, which is far superior for $10 more.

I bought this to provide background music while I did work around the house. The radio failed to tune the station I wanted. It had difficulty tuning in general and would play two stations simultaneously. The sound quality was what you would expect for the price.
