Yes it is a large pill but it is smaller than a generic brand I tried. It has a coating which the generic brand doesn't have which helps when swallowing. It does not cause me any stomach problems but then again I do not have stomach issues when taking vitamins. Everything I have read as well as my GYN's recommendation is to take slow release calcium combined with Vit D for maximum asorption. I also have a low a Vit D level so this product solves both problems in one pill.

Having gastritis this product met all my needs. I haven't had any stomach problems. I also have diverticulosis and there is just the right amount of magnesium to not give me intestinal issues.

Reviewed 11 years agoOne dose and slow release!
I was thrilled to find this only had to be taken once a day. With other brands, the calcium is taken twice a day, and I would always forget the 2nd dose. The fact that it is slow release is an added plus! The pills are large, but wash down well enough.

Reviewed 11 years agoA great all-in-one.
I've been taking this for some time now and find it easy to swallow, and I tend to be fussy that way. It's a great combination of Calcium and Vit. D, plus magnesium to prevent constipation.

My gyn recommended 2 tabs a day for osteopenia. Pill is a bit large, but worth taking.
