I like that it's a physical sunscreen (not chemical) that blends well and doesn't leave my skin looking chalky. It's great for on the go -- I keep one in my purse at all times. I use mostly on face, neck and lips. Even got my husband and son to use it, and they like it! Love that it has hyaluronic acid and ceramides, and is good for sensitive skin.

I bought this for my husband, who does not like sunscreen on his face and he liked it a lot- fits in his pocket, protects very well and it isn't smelly. Great for receding hair line and "bald spots", back of the neck and ears. It is a little white and thick when you apply, but if you rub gently it disappears. Yes, you have to reapply especially after getting wet but that is the norm with all sunscreens.

Reviewed 11 years agoGreat for sensitive faces but reapply often!
Bottom line - Gentle and perfect if you are not going to get wet. If you plan to get wet, remember to reapply every 40 minutes. My daughter keeps complaining of face sunscreen burning, so I bought this CeraVe stick to try. Love their lotion, cleanser, and cream. The shape of the stick is a little hard for her to apply by herself (age 8), but she said the sunscreen did not burn her face, which was our hope. The con is that we later noticed her face was a little pink, under her eyes (we live at the beach, and she is very tan--happens even with consistent sunscreen use). I looked at the stick more closely to see "water resistant (40 minutes)". That statement was not mentioned under the description here on cvs.com (I just found it under directions). Just FYI! Sunscreen is still okay since it doesn't burn her skin, but reapplying a 50 SPF after 40 minutes in the water is probably not my most practical solution.
