I purchased the Caliber Desktop Calculator which is very similar to this one, but couldn't find it on the site so I decided to review it here. I'm not sure if it is a problem with the Caliber Desktop Calculator line, or just the one I purchased, but it was the last one left and I desperately needed one at the time and happened to drive by a CVS. When trying to calculate numbers, the display would malfunction, cutting off some of the numbering leaving you having to decipher larger numbers (0s and 3s ended up looking like 1s, and so forth). I found I was better off just calculating numbers by hand, and using the calculator to see if the result sort of looked like the result I got. It was very time consuming, and definitely not worth the 10 dollars I paid. Luckily you can get refunded. The calculator in itself was not bad looking at all, and the buttons were fine, but what's the point of using a calculator if the display is half messed up?

I must have 3 BROKEN “Caliber” calculators at home. CVS, please stop selling second-rate, disposable junk! Yes, you can replace the batteries, a few times, but after a couple of years even that doesn't work. I have a calculator from Radio Shack in the '80s that still runs, but these are just garbage! What burns me is that's THE ONLY OPTION at CVS. (Okay, there's one other option, a very fancy Casio calculator with way too many math features.) I just want a well-made calculator with basic features that will last longer than 2 years before heading to a landfill.
