Does not work at all on an Urban Decay 24/7 Concealer Pencil. I have uploaded a picture: Perhaps you can see the white surface that the Urban Decay company places between the outside of the pencil and the make-up in the middle: This surface cannot be cut or shaved by the Essence of Beauty Duo Sharpener sold at CVS. We tried another even-cheaper pharmacy-sold sharpener: That one works fine. There is just something about the large-opening blade angle or the dullness of the blade that causes this sharpener to fail on the Urban Decay pencil.

Great inexpensive sharpener. Works well to sharpen in my case, the moustache color pencil. Easy to clean and open. Beats the $5.00 to $10.00 sharpeneres hands down.
