Bring back the old formula Aveno Soap. Used the old formula for many years and loved it. It was perfect for all skin types, and was especially great for humid environments. Unfortunately the formula had changed and it is now disgusting. It smells rancid, leaves an oily residue in my tub, and when I use it my makeup doesn’t stay on.

I discovered you changed the ingredients in the bar soap. I tried the new soap and it irritates my skin. Please bring back the original formula.

The new formula is terrible and I won’t be buying any more Aveeno products. It’s also great how all of the negative new reviews disappeared and the only ones left are test reviews from months ago.

Reviewed 11 years agoIt's not as good as the Bar Soap J&J discontinued
I have skin ailments and while the moisturizing bar is OK it isn't as good in a medical sense as the discontinued bar. I go see my dermatologist soon and will ask what soap they recommend. I wrote Johnson & Johnson to no avail. I remember there where many people in panic mode when they did discontinue it.

I was looking for a soap with no toxins. I found EWG Skin Deep Data Base which gives reviews on the stuff for all things that goes on your body (lotions, shampoo, toothpaste, etc). This bar was rated the best with regard to toxins. I've started to use it and love it. Makes my face so soft and smooth. I have been a Neutrogena gal for 30+ years...but it has way to many toxins so I've become a Aveeno bar gal now!
