Best on the market, lasts longer than other similiar ointments, its not meant to drop off the tip. You can warm under water if you want, But make sure hands are clean, put small dab on tip to finger, hold eye open and put under top or bottom lid, blick eye, and done. I hade eye operation and had to use this for over a year and best. At first blurres vision but blinking eye and when it warms in eye can see. Lasts longer than other nighttime lubicants.

While the packaging leaves something to be desired, this is a great product. It is not greasy. Just before going to bed or after taking my contacts out, I squeeze a small blob in the lower middle of my eyes, close my eyes and lightly massage it in; my eyes are slightly blury, but it only takes a few seconds and some blinking for the blurriness to abate. I have found that this product works much better than anything I've tried. I would prefer different packaging.

It is almost impossible to put this in your own eye without touching anything to the tip of tube, such as skin or eyelash. It is so thick that it doesn't drop off tip of applicator. If you aid it in any way, you're bound to contaminate the tip and this will make the tube unfit for further use.
Also I didn't like the greasy feel of my eyes in the morning even after a shower.
It is also very expensive considering it nothing but a few applications of petroleum jelly.
