This scent gave me a headache within about 20 minutes of plugging it in even though I had it on the lowest setting. I could not stand it anymore and unplugged it. The smell lasted for hours.
On the plus side it does a good job of spreading the fragrance. To conserve it you can plug it in for a bit and unplug it and the scent will last for some time. In that sense these work way better than sprays.
But the smell is just too strong and irritating. It was like if you opened a bottle of detergent and stuck your face in it. On my clothes detergent smells good but it's too strong a smell when not diluted and I wouldn't want to breathe it in all the time.
I'm not even someone with a strong sense of smell. But I admit I do tend to get headaches from smells easily so not everyone will have this problem. If you've ever had issues with getting headaches from perfumes, though, this will probably do that to you.
