OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
- Before adding water, insert 2 "AA" batteries according to polarity markings.
- Fill the reservoir with approximately 8 oz. of water.
- To activate/ deactivate fountain, turn power switch to ON or OFF position. NOTE: Never operate fountain without water.
- Keep fountain on a level and stable surface during use.
Note: Always drain water from the fountain before turning over replacing batteries.

WARNING: Only use a UL approved DC3V adapter (3V, 350mA) (not included). DO NOT use an adapter for more than 72 hours continuously, this may damage the fountain.

- DANGER: POTENTIAL FOR ELECTRICAL SHOCK - If using an DC Adapter (not included), there is a risk of electrical shock. Never expose the unit to water.
- If using an DC adapter, use only a properly rated UL-certified adapter.
- Small parts may pose a choking hazard to children. Not for children under 3 years.
- Inspect the product before every use. If the product appears worn, frayed, cracked, or broken in any manner, discontinue use and discard immediately.
BATTERY WARNING:
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
- Insert batteries using the correct polarity. Do not short-circuit the supply terminal.
- Remove batteries when not in use. Recycle or dispose of exhausted batteries according to federal, state, and local laws. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire - they may leak or explode.
- Only use manufacture specified battery(ies), charger(s) and/or adapter, if applicable, specified by the manufacturer.
- Always use, replace, and recharge (if applicable) batteries under adult supervision.
