I bought this at my local CVS pharmacy, praying it was not going to be another one of those "products." My prayers worked! I used it under my nail polish and it was completely clear, thank goodness! It was not thick and gloppy, either, like other base coats. It was a thin layer of nothingness, really. It also renewed my nails. They looked ten times better after using this! Also, my nail did not chip as easily. I would just put some of this on my nail, and when my nail skimmed a thread that would usually get caught on, my nail would stay in tact. I would not break! I love Seche Nail Products and this base coat has certainly displayed how great their line of nail care really is!
