Safe-Guard 4 in 1 Canine Dewormer works quickly to treat Tapeworms (Taenia pisiformis), Roundworms (Toxocara canis, Toxacaris leonine), Hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala), and Whipworms (Trichuris vulpis). For dogs only. Contains three 1 gram pouches for 3 days of treatment. Each pouch treats 10 lbs of body weight.

Active: Fenbendazole Granules 22.2% (222 mg/g).

The daily dose for Safe-Guard 4 Canine is 50mg/kg (22.7 mg/lb) of body weight. You should weigh your dog to make sure you are using the right dose: i.e. correct gram amount and appropriate number of pouches. Your dog must be treated with the following dose for 3 days in a row. Up to 10 lbs - 1 gram; 11 to 20 lbs - 2 grams; 21 to 30 lbs - 3 grams; 31 to 40 lbs - 4 grams; 41 to 50 lbs - 5 grams; 51 to 60 lbs - 6 grams; 61 to 80 lbs - 8 grams; over 80 lbs - dose according to weight. Mix daily dose with a small amount of the usual food. Make sure your dog eats all the medicated food. You may need to moisten dry dog food to aid mixing.
